The luxury market in Austin has been nothing short of dazzling the last couple of years. Homes stay on the market much longer than recent history and the pressure on pricing has definitely had an impact to sellers in the $1M+ price range.
Has it completely dried up? No, but it definitely is no longer “dazzling”. Listing agents are reporting little to no traffic going thru their high-dollar listings, and that naturally leads to disgruntled (or even angry) sellers.
