The Staging Guy® is thrilled to be a Silver Sponsor of the All Genders, Lifestyles, and Identities Film Festival (aGLIFF), held in Austin from Septbemer 6th – 9th at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar. This sponsorship provides a unique opportunity to celebrate and support equality, the arts, and the community while showcasing The Staging Guy®’s capabilities. Our company is well suited to provide furnishings and accessories for film sets, and participating in this festival is another event in our outreach to the video production industry.
Richard Kline, The Staging Guy®’s President and Master Stager commented, “This is a great event for us. Not only do we get to support the community and a wide variety of talented people, but it’s also a lot of fun. And as an added benefit, we get a chance to interact with filmmakers and creatives and tell them all about how professional staging services can help get their scene or production just right.”
The aGLIFF events begin at 530pm on Thursday evening, September 6th with red carpet festivities. The first film begins at 630pm Thursday evening, and then films start around 11am Friday – Sunday, running throughout the day. This year’s festival features nearly 50 productions, ranging across fiction and non-fiction. Genres include documentaries, dramas, and short films just to name a few. Events also include parties where you can interact with filmmakers, actors, and other creatives. You can find more festival information and buy tickets at the aGLIFF website, http://agliff.org.
